Dear Family,

Debbie was texted yesterday by Dayton’s MTC teacher (Sister Christiansen) asking for her email address.  It would seem Dayton forgot.  Shortly thereafter, he sent us the note below and the attached pictures.  Looks like he is in the new building with a pretty sweet view.  He can almost see his grandparents house. J  Thanks for keeping him in your prayers. 

It was ironic that the day Dayton entered the MTC a missionary was reporting home to the high council from the same mission.  I had spoken to his parents already but he was excited for Dayton and spoke about all the service opportunities they had…like shoveling snow J.

The MTC is an amazing place to be and I'm growing so much already.  It's policy to email home so no I'm not breaking the rules haha. There has been so much information thrown at me but I'm taking it in slowly. Here is a couple pics. I love my savior and am super excited to keep learning and growing . Here is my Companion Elder paskett, we got along pretty fast!

This week was super great, but I forgot to add something about last week at zone conference. We were told by the mission president that we will be getting Facebook in our mission. That's all they told us and so I'll let you know more details in 2 weeks when we go back to anchorage. The weeks out here keep flying by, it's always nice to start the week out fishing and so we were out fishing at monashka for the day. We were only there 4 hours because we caught our limit of 2 silvers each. The rest of the day we cut them up like usual and a member lets us vacuum seal all of our fish to preserve it. My companion is going to send home about 50 pounds of silver salmon. He said it's a little pricy to send since it has to be shipped frozen. But let me know if you think it would be fun and I can send some your way if you request. It might take a while to collect a lot but I can try haha.
